GREEN CONSUMER DAY - Power-cell Battery Products is teaming up with consumers to GO GREEN!

A: September 28th is Green Consumer Day. It's a great day to think about your choices as a consumer and consider how they could be greener.

In celebration of Green Consumer Day and everyday, Power-cell Battery Products would like to remind consumers the importance of recycling! Recycling batteries is one of the easiest ways to live green. Check your houses, garages, and tool sheds for any used sealed lead acid batteries and turn them in for recycling. Many consumers do not realize a new lead acid battery contains almost 100% recycled lead and plastic, and lead-acid batteries top the list of the most highly recycled consumer products! It's important to recycle for so many reasons, and you're doing your part in protecting our Earth.

Power-cell Battery Products is proud to do our part in recycling batteries for the environment, and we would like to remind consumers and residents with used batteries to contact RBRC at (800) 8-BATTERY or visit their website to find a battery recycling center near you.
